Instead of continuing with commercial sensor faucets that repeatedly developed inconsistent infrared response and premature valve wear in high-traffic facilities, we transitioned to the Dijon faucet during several office and healthcare renovation projects completed between 2023 and 2025.The improvement in long-term operational reliability was immediately noticeable. The built-in infrared AI smart-chip maintained accurate activation without excessive false triggering, while the adjustable auto shutoff timing remained consistent even during continuous daily usage. The solid brass body, water-resistant solenoid enclosure, and AC/DC hybrid power configuration also provided significantly better durability and maintenance flexibility compared to earlier touchless systems we previously serviced.Across multiple installations, maintenance requirements remained exceptionally low.
